About the TULIP Award Program
The Touching Unique Lives in Practice (TULIP) award recognizes our Northwell Health Physician Partners medical assistants for going above and beyond in providing outstanding and compassionate care to our patients. They act as an exceptional team player by improving patient care and enhancing the patient experience.
Who is eligible?
Any ambulatory medical assistant currently employed by Northwell Health will qualify by meeting the following criteria:
- Utilizes the framework for the culture of C.A.R.E to provide exceptional patient experiences
- Makes a special connection with patients, families, or co-workers
- Goes the "extra mile" to meet the needs of patients, their families and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Displays exceptional compassion and selflessness
- Exemplifies the mission, vision, and values of NHPP
- Demonstrates extraordinary skill in the delivery of patient centered care
- Works collaboratively with the patient and healthcare team to meet patient and team member needs
